Kevin Strauwen is a Belgian composer, hands-on producer and musician based in Antwerp. He creates dark, DIY-driven music under TRUE ZEBRA, blending industrial, electronic rock, and EBM with tight grooves, eerie melodies with a sensual edge and composes for film under NEWUARTS.

Working from his own studio and with a portable 16-mic recording setup, he delivers projects from concept to completion.

A respected figure in the darker electronic scene, he has also performed live with numerous bands on synths, guitar, bass, percussion, drums—and the occasional dance.

A Split-Second is a Belgian new beat and electronic body music (EBM) band established in 1985. The band is seen as one of the pioneers of EBM and their music influenced the creation of the new beat genre.

De Kreet : Dark In the Shadow / De Zus van Adeline

Theater De Kreet was a short lived theatre collective that existed between 1979 and 1981. In that period the troupe presented just one performance, a musical called 'Adeline' which had a run of six shows during 1981. Its core members were Walter Verdin, Guy Dermul, Hilde Wils, Gaby Geysens and Nicole Boffin.

The most surprising and personal track is right at the end. In "Don't Look Back," Kyoko reflects on the choices she made in life, on balancing the delicate balance between family and career; a distorted piano, an acoustic guitar, some subtle synth lines, and some brass instruments, some of which are not real, complete the sonic palette of this haunting song, which starts as a slow track, gains symphonic allure along the way, and then fades out in resignation. - Review DaMusic
